Well...

It's been a while since I've posted. There are a number of reasons for this, and I am making no excuses. So, let's just move on...

Star Wars

When last I posted, it was to discuss the merits of Star Wars being a superior story to LOTR. I still do firmly believe that, but I find that I am now too lazy to discuss it. Maybe somewhere down the line, I will revisit this line of thought. suffice it to say, I just think that whereas LOTR was a fine story plot-wise, I feel that the entire Star Wars saga in general made more effective use of the symbols and semiotics that permeate our mandala. So there.

Kathy

On to more important matters...

Yesterday was a milestone for me and Kathy. Six years as a couple... that's even longer than most married people I know have been together. Each of those years have been fascinating... and each of those years is vying to be the best year of my life. I guess it's a good sign when each year wins that award, eh?

It was a fun day, I gave Kathy these really cool (secret) gifts, and she responded exactly the way I hoped she would. That was very nice for me, as she has given me so much in life that I wanted to give her back even just a little bit of the happiness she gives me. I love her so much.

Deva

For those who are unaware, Kathy gave me a rabbit for our anniversary. Her name is Deva. She's cute. She's fat.
